La Familia Institute is certified for continuing education by the State of California, Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.

The California Psychology Internship Council accredits La Familia’s the Internship/Practicum Program. Candidates for training may seek admission by completing a formal application.

La Familia maintains a dynamic Clinical Training Institute led by licensed professionals in psychology and clinical social work. Weekly training focuses on effective Family and Individual Therapy. With the use of videos and lectures, trainees are able to participate in live therapeutic exercises while providing input during actual therapeutic sessions. In addition, Field Placements are offered by all Agency Components.
