La Familia Counseling Service is formally affiliated with the California Fiesta Educativa, National Alliance for Latino Health, National Council of La Raza, California Psychology Internship Council, United Way, California Alliance for Inclusive Communities, Organization of Latino Social Workers, Federation of Families for Children Mental Health, Hispanic Community Fund, United Way of the Bay Area, and Mental Health Contractors Council of the Alameda County. Together we foster common objectives.

In summary, La Familia Counseling Service is a leading community based organization that encourages leadership, collaboration and partnership with existing local, state and national organizations. We also encourage the development of new and innovative programs to strengthen the lives of individuals and families.

We strongly advocate for a vision that views mental health as a community issue where families and youth are assisted through coordinated services while involving local residents in the provision of preventive service.
